Tuesday Touchpoint

I sat in my car at a red light, and u saw them. The wind was blustery, they were taking the brunt of it.

As high and howly as the wind was, they never broke. Boy did they bend, almost in half, but not one snapped.

Some days I wish I had that power. Some days it feels like I’m never pleasing anyone and living up to others standards is gonna just break me in half.

I am learning to move with the wind. Allow it to go around me, surround me but never stay. Push and pull but never break.

It’s hard to find the strength to bend. Bend and not break. If I’m patient I’m sure I’ll find my sweet spot.

Until later.

One of my favourite quotes is “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain”. Kinda like those flowers.
